How long does it take to process my application?

As soon as we receive your request, we can FedEex all necessary forms along with a return FedEx envelope and a preset pick up from Federal Express (if you desire). Utilizing this method, your business can begin taking credit card orders usually within 5 days from the date of your request.

What credit cards will I be able to accept?

1st Global provides a merchant number for accepting MasterCard and Visa. As a courtesy, 1st Global will also submit your application to American Express and Discover at no cost to you. These companies will then issue merchant numbers. Online check acceptance is also available.

Do I need to buy special equipment to process credit cards and checks?

We have the software or terminals(s) your business will require at competitive lease and purchase prices.

Will I receive a statement for all transactions processed?

Customer service and merchant account statement fees are $10.00 - $15.00 per month. As a merchant, you will receive a detailed statement of all credit card transactions. The statement is e-mailed to you within minutes of the online transaction.

How do I get funds from credit card transactions?

Transactions will be approved and funds directly into your bank account. This approval/transfer will take from 24 to 72 hours from the time your customer places an order.

How does the secure payment gateway integrate with my website?

1st Global E-Com provides a Gateway Interface, Authorize.Net, that is quick and easy to set up. Your website order pages are simply linked to the Authorize.Net secure server. Detailed instructions will be available on the Authorize.Net setup pages. The order forms and "Thank You" pages can be customized by adding your logo and background graphics with point and click ease.

Are my funds guaranteed?

As with any purchase, your customers will have the right of cancellation within 72 hours of placing an order. All accounts will be verified with great care. You can rest assured that all transactions are handled with the greatest amount of safety for both you and your customers.

How do I get technical assistance?

As soon as your account is approved, a 1st Global consultant will call you and set up your file with Authorize.Net. You will receive an e-mail with detailed instructions for linking to our secure gateway. If further assistance is required you will also be provided with technical support e-mail addresses, webpages, and 24-7 telephone numbers to reach qualified technicians.

Is the secure payment gateway compatible with my shopping cart?
